In this course you will learn:

Digital age has changed the look of journalistic stories, the way they are written and the way they are visually presented to the audience. Whether you are an experienced journalist or a beginner in journalism, nowadays you have to create adapted multimedia journalism stories in order to reach a larger audience on different platforms.

Through the course you will learn how the world of media changes under the influence of technology, how the habits of the audience change, what content you need to create and how to adapt it in order to monitor in different platforms.

COURSE CONTENT:

  • Module 1 – gives an overview of the courses and topics that will be covered and introduces you to the instructors;
  • Module 2 – describes the habits of the audience when following the news on different platforms;
  • Module 3 – describes the process of customizing news for different platforms through a practical example;
  • Module 4 – includes key points and final tips for customizing news for different platforms.

There are practical exercises and questionnaires in some parts of this course. You need to complete them all in order to acquire the appropriate knowledge, as well as a certificate of successful completion the course.

You can complete this course in approximately 4 hours, through multiple sessions.

Aleksandar Manasiev is an award-winning journalist from North Macedonia with more than 17 years of experience in print media, TV and digital media. He has experience as an investigative journalist, correspondent and editor in chief in several media outlets in the region and beyond. He also works as a regional trainer for mobile journalism, digital media and investigative journalism.
