About ‘Media for All’

#WBMediaforAll
#CallingtheOtherSide

Diaspora is still an unexplored and unengaged resource in media development. ‘Media for All’ project conducted pilot research among Albanian diaspora in 2020 and identified several avenues of opportunity that we would like to present, discuss and follow-up during our two-day event in Ulcinj.

Additionally, almost one-third of supported media outlets within the BD grant scheme directly or indirectly targeted diaspora in their business plans. We look forward to meeting our grantees in person, exchanging experiences and knowledge, and discuss upcoming plans.

Media for All is a two-year programme funded by the UK Government and implemented by the British Council, Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN), Thomson Foundation and INTRAC.

From September 2019 until today, the project has provided support to 85 media outlets in the Western Balkans in the field of business development, enhancing two-way communication with citizens and media outlets, supporting youth media outlets and young journalists and amplifying voices of women within media and as audience.

Please scroll down for the full agenda of the conference, as well as live streaming from the event. For more information on the conference and the project, please contact us via our email address or our social media.
