For the first time since their establishment Romtegra, a Romani language outlet from Pristina, got their own website available on www.romtegra.com. So far, they primarily operated through social media channels.
“With the launch of the new website we now have much easier publication of our products, news and all materials related to the Roma community and current events in Kosovo and beyond,”
said Avdi Misini, editor of Romtegra.
Romtegra is a non-government organization established in 2010, focused exclusively on improvement of Romani language media and the needs of Roma community in Kosovo. In that regard they produce debate shows and media materials.
As a part of the Engaged citizens reporting (ECR) grant scheme, Romtegra will have the opportunity to better engage their community and involve citizens in the reporting process. The new website is crucial in this regard, as it will serve not only as a platform for distributing content, but also as a place for interaction with audiences and citizens engagement through different callouts and questionnaires.
