“Life without borders” is the title of RTV Pljevlja project that aims to bring people and institutions from the municipalities on the border of Montenegro, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina closer through establishing a network of correspondents that will share relevant information for the local communities.
The first edition of the show, aired on 11 June, was dedicated to Žabljak municipality in Montenegro, and the second one, broadcasted on 23 July, was about another town in Montenegro, Pljevlja. In total there will be 10 shows, and each month a new episode will be aired.
“The reactions on the first two shows are positive,” said Dejan Miličić from RTV Pljevlja adding that “both, citizens and local institutions, gave only positive feedback.” Namely, as Miličić points out, there were even remarks from the citizens of Žabljak why their houses, objects, and villages were not filmed.
Three municipalities from each country are included in the project. From Montenegro are Žabljak, Pljevlja and Rožaje (this shows will be produced by Dragana Djurišić), from Serbia will be Prijepolje, Priboj and Zlatibor (produced by Milo Dzaković), and from Bosnia and Herzegovina are Foča, Višegrad, and Sarajevo (produced by Alen Dzakić).
